Q: What is a Bang?
A: A fandom bang is an event that teams up writers and artists to collaborate on one work. In a traditional bang, writers will each submit a plot summary that is posted anonymously. Artists will then submit claims for the summaries they would be most interested in creating art for. The mod team will generally assign one writer with one artist. The artist and writer are expected to work closely. Depending on the number of sign-ups, multiple artists may end up working with one writer on the same story.For example, a writer may create a one chapter story, and the artist may create cover art for the story. Or, the artist may choose to draw a scene from the story. Whether the art takes the form of a comic, cover art, or otherwise is up to the writer and artist pair. There will be minimum requirements for the bang, but the sky is the limit!A reverse bang runs the same way, except the submitting and claiming roles by artists and writers are reversed. This will not be relevant for this particular bang.A fandom bang is not an exchange. Writers and artists will be working together, rather than surprising each other with gifts. The sign-up form will also have a detailed explanation.Q: Will there be content restrictions?
A: This event will be separated into SFW, NSFW, and Problematic content. This bang is also the fixed dynamic of Wriolette (Top Wriothesley and Bottom Neuvillette). There will be appropriate channels for each content type within the Discord.Q: Is this event 18+ Only?
A: Yes this event is limited to 18+. Please keep in mind NSFW and problematic content will be contained to secured channels within the Discord.Q: Can contributors sign up as both artists and writers?
A: Yes!Q: Can contributors sign up as a writer/artist team?
A: Yes, you will need to indicate who you would like to work with on your sign-up form.Q: Will you be posting contributor's works or will contributors be allowed to post their own works with a designated @/ and hashtag?
A: All contributors will be posting their own works during the posting period and the Wriolette Bang twitter will be retweeting to give the work visibility and love!Q: Is Discord required for this Bang?
A: Yes, this Bang is being run on Discord, you must join the bang server in order to participate. This server is a standalone from any other existing discord servers for the fandom.
